Lily Collins reveals she’s penning her own memoirs... just as rocker dad Phil releases his autobiography

She's only 27 but Phil Collins' daughter Lily is already writing her memoirs. The model and actress is writing personal essays about being the daughter of a famous musician, dating and body image and will publish them in a revealing book entitled Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me.   Speaking to People magazine, she said: 'It's definitely like having my diary published.' The Mirror Mirror actress was inspired to write the tome by director Warren Beatty and her role in Rules Don't Apply as devout Baptist Marla Mabrey, which sees her character overcome 'intense' situations.   She explained: 'I was put into many situations throughout the years in acting, in Warren's film especially, where you're in an intense situation and you have to fight your way through it, go through the emotions, and live and breathe those scenes.'   Lily was previously romantically linked to her co-stars in both The Mortal Instruments and Abduction, Jamie Campbell Bower and Taylor Lautner, and while she won't be name-dropping any ex-boyfriends, she will open up about what she has learnt from past relationships.   She told the magazine: 'It was not about attacking, it was about showing how you can be given situations in life and turn them into lessons. It takes knowing what you don't want in order to know what you do want.' Lily is also writing the book in the hope of inspiring other young women who share their lives on social media.   The announcement comes after Phil, 65, launched his own autobiography, Not Dead Yet. In his book, Phil candidly talks about his battle with alcohol addiction and the ups and downs of his career.
