2nd phase of immunization of Thonoknyu
THONOKNYU, February 1 (DIPR): The 3-day training programme for Enumerators and Supervisors for the 2nd Phase started on February 1 and will continue till 3rd February 2011 at Thonknyu Town Hall. The trainers were Master Trainer, Tokeho, Nodal Officer, Vivokho and M. Mhamo, EAC Sardar under Tuensang district. The welcome address was delivered by SDO (C) Thonoknyu, Letrongla. Around 40 trainees from Thonoknyu attended the training programme.
DMC Dimapur informs
Dimapur, February 1 (MExN): The Advisor I/C DMC, Quality Control, Tokheli Kikon, is hereby authorized to go for checking/inspection of hotels/restaurants including other shops dealing with food items along with her staffs within the DMC jurisdiction from the hygienic point of view. This was informed in a press note issued by Er. K Keditsu, chief advisor, DMC Dimapur.
DPDB Tuensang meet on Feb 8
Dimapur, February 1 (MExN): The monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of February 2011 for Tuensang district is scheduled on February 8. The main agenda for the meeting will be on Second Phase Census Operation 2011. DC Tuensang Y. L Jami in a press release has requested all head of the department to attend the meeting without fail.
IMFL destroyed at Peren district
Peren, February 1 (MExN): A joint raid by the Police & Administration was carried out on February 1 in Peren Town. A total of 218 bottles of IMFL including beer, rum and whisky were seized. The seized items were destroyed on the same day in the presence of Magistrate, SDO (C) Peren, SDPO Peren, PTWWO and Peren Youth Organisation Members. This was informed in a press note issued by Smita Sarangi, Sub-Division Officer (Civil), Peren.
NEAC orientation workshop on Feb 8
Dimapur, February 1 (MExN): An orientation workshop for selected participating organizations under the National Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC 2010-11) will be held at the conference hall of Nagaland Pollution Control Board on February 8 t 10:00 AM. NIRD off-campus workshop on NRLM concludes
Kohima, February 1 (DIPR): The NIRD off -Campus Workshop on National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), in collaboration with SIRD and RD, which was conducted from January 27 to February 1 at the SIRD conference Hall, Kohima came to a conclusion today. The training was imparted to all the Officers of RD and BDOs in batches. The training coordinator Dr. Sridhar Seetharaman who is also the Nodal officer of NRLM conducted the Workshop.
LFA executive committee meet
Kohima, February 1 (MExN): The Legislators’ Forum on AIDS (LFA- Nagaland) will be having its executive meeting on February 8 at the Committee Hall of the Assembly Secretariat, Kohima at 11:00 AM. This has the approval of Kuzholuzo Nienu, minister for health & family welfare and convener of LFA. Stating this in a release, state programme coordinator Dr. Vinito L. Chishi informed all the members of the LFA executive committee to attend the said meeting.
