The Manipur government is likely to lift the ban on mobile internet services on trial basis in those districts which are not affected by the current violence conflict.

If the same is found feasible, it shall be replicated to other areas where the law and order situation has improved, it added.

To note here, in protest against the suspension of the internet services, All Naga Students’ Association Manipur (ANSAM) has been imposing economic blockade on the national highways starting from November 3 evening.

Owing to the blockade, hundreds of Imphal-bound loaded trucks were reportedly stranded at various places along NH-2 and NH-37.
