Patkai, September 14 (MExN): Tāla Education, hosted by the Margaret Shishak School of Music, Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) held an online training workshop to introduce using the Orff approach to enable engaging and effective music teaching on September 12.
As part of the Music degree course, students are introduced to music education, exploring how to teach in a classroom setting from the youngest age. The workshop is to enable children to develop skills for holistic growth involving fun and confidence building, an update from Margaret Shishak School of Music stated.
The Tala team, based in Bangalore with International members, shared their skills and expertise here in the North-East.
“It is surely just the beginning of more professional development and teacher training becoming accessible for Nagaland teachers and musicians,” the release stated.
