Mokokchung, January 3 (MExN): The Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) today, January 3 appreciated all those NGOs, groups, clubs and individuals who responded to the call of MCCI and restrained themselves from getting involved in collecting donations or selling calendars and other items to MCCI members during this festive season.
A press note issued by the MCCI president, Lanukaba and Secretary MR Rai while appreciating all concerned for heading the call of the MCCI, also expressed gratitude to the district administration, the Mokokchung Municipal Council, security personnel of both state and central forces for contributing a lot to maintain law and order as best as they could throughout the festive season.
It may be noted here that the MCCI last December, during the festive season declared that it will not to allow any individuals, groups, clubs or organizations for forceful sale of raffle tickets, calendars or other items to its members or collect donations from them. Meanwhile, the MCCI has wished ‘a very happy and prosperous New Year 2011 to all its members friends and well wishers’.
