Mokokchung, September 8 (MExN): The Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) in a press statement informed that the MDFA Trophy 2024 will be held from October 15 to November 2 at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
The MDFA Office informed that the cash amount for the tournament will be Rs. 2 lacs for the champion, and Rs. 1lac for the runner-up. Two losing semi-finalists will be awarded Rs. 25,000 each and 5 individual prizes will also be awarded with cash and certificates. The Office also informed that participating teams from outside of Mokokchung will be provided free lodging and logistic support.
The registration forms will be available at 3 Kit photo house, Alongmen ward Mokokchung, which will be issued from September 20 and the last date for the submission of forms will be October 2. The fixture of the tournament will be drawn on October 9.
The office also provided information on registration fees, which are Rs. 2000 for new clubs, Rs. 1000 for existing clubs, and Rs. 200 for player registration. It was also mentioned that the transfer window will be open while clubs register and renew. The tournament registrations fee will be Rs. 5000.
