MOKOKCHUNG, AUGUST 9 (MExN): The Mokokchung District Volleyball Association (MDVA) will be hosting the 17th edition of the Imchaba Masters Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy from September 17-20 at Multi-purpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
The champion will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 1, 00,000, along with a running trophy and certificates. The first runner-up will receive a cash prize of Rs 70,000, along with certificates, while the third and fourth runners-up will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively. Individual awards will also be presented which will include Best setter, Best Spiker and Player of the Tournament, a press release received from the MDVA president informed.
All the participating teams, except for the final four, will be given Rs 5000 each as participation grant. Travelling allowances will be compensated to those teams from outside Mokokchung District.
Towards this, interested teams/clubs/associations have been asked to collect entry forms from Lim Counter Kohima, Mokokchung and Dimapur, which will be available from August 20 onwards. The last date for submission of entry form is September 13.
