The 14th AR and the DAN conducted a medical camp in Lekromi village on March 20.
Kohima, March 22 (MExN): A free health camp was conducted by the 14th Assam Rifles along with the Development Authority of Nagaland (DAN) at Lekromi village under Pfutsero sub-division in Phek district.
A press release issued by the Lekromi village council stated that the camp was held on March 20 led by14th Assam Rifles and Dr. Priya Ramauli under Sadbhavana with aegis of IGAR (N) and in association with DAN village sensitisation programme.
It informed that around 381 persons received free health check-up during the camp and were also distributed with free medicines where neighbouring villages availed the facility.
Lekromi Village Council Chairman, Kewete Mero in press note meanwhile acknowledged the Assam Rifles and the Development Authority of Nagaland for the initiatives in reaching out to the rural folks with health facilities.
