ZSUK consultative meeting The Zeliangrong Students’ Union Kohima (ZSUK) will hold a consultative meeting on July 21, 1:00 pm at Poimi ki, D. Block, Kohima. All the executives, federating units, subordinate units, and senior leaders have been requested to attend the same positively.     DDEO Dimapur informs The Deputy District Education Officer, Dimapur has informed all the principals/ headmasters/ head teachers/ teachers in-charge, both government and private schools, under Dimapur that the Teachers’ District Award forms will be issued during office hours from July 21. The last date of submission of the filled forms is August 16.     Dimapur AOs & HoDs meet All the Administrative Officers and Head of Departments/Offices under Dimapur district have been informed that a meeting has been scheduled for July 22, 11:00 am in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur to chalk out the programmes for Independence Day. Officiating Deputy Commissioner, Elizabeth Ngullie has directed all to attend the meeting positively.     DDADU election The Election Commissioner of Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union (DDADU) has informed all the intending candidates to file their nomination for the union’s election on or before July 23. Scrutiny of the documents will be done on July 24, withdrawal of nomination will be on July 25. The election is fixed on July 27. A press release from Election Commissioner, Vikato Assumi informed that the tenure of DDADU president ended on July 17. Therefore, a meeting of advisors, office bearers, and executive members was held on July 17 where an Election Commission was set up. The Election Commission has directed the outgoing DDADU president to submit all the identity cards of advisors, office bearers, and executive members. Meanwhile, the branch offices have been informed to submit the name list of all the executive members. The submissions have to be done on or before July 21, the release added.     NU MA (History & Archaeology) entrance test All candidates seeking admission to MA in the Department of History & Archaeology, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, Meriema have been informed that there will be entrance test on July 26 at 10: 00 am in the Department. The names of all eligible candidates for MA is given in the Department’s notice board, informed Head of Department, Prof. Y Ben Lotha. Candidates who have not submitted complete mark sheets (B.A. 1st Semester to Final Semester) have to submit the same on or before July 22.  

  NU Education dept written tests The Department of Education, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, Meriema has informed that written test for MA (Education) admission will be held on July 27 at the department from 10:30 am onwards. Oral interview will be conducted on July 28 for the candidates selected in the written test. It was informed that written test for Ph.D Education programme will also be held on July 27 from 10:30 am. Oral interview for the same will take place on July 29. The lists of eligible candidates for both courses have already been put on the department’s notice board. Candidates have been directed to bring along all necessary documents in original for verification on the day of interview. Any candidate who fails to turn up for the interview or fails to furnish all required documents on the day of interview shall not be considered for admission. Results for MA (Education) shall be declared on July 29 and Ph.D (Education) on August 1.     Sumi Hoho general meeting The Sumi Hoho has convened the Sumi Baghi Hoho (general meeting) on July 29, 10:00 am at Town Hall, Zunheboto. Therefore, all the executive members, advisors, Sumi frontal organizations, kukamiqo (GBs), Village Council Chairmen, VDB secretaries, CANSSEA Zunheboto, elders and youth have been informed to attend the meeting. A press release from Vihuto Asumi, General Secretary, Sumi Hoho further informed all the Sumi Hoho executive members and advisors that there will be an executive meeting on July 29, 2:00 pm at Sumi Hoho Ki.
