Dimapur, August 12 (MExN): Khushabill village in Dimapur continues to reel from a case of bestiality on August 11, where a young boy, aged about 11 years was caught engaging in a sexual sex with a goat.
The incident came to light after the villagers informed Media persons of the bizarre incident on Thursday evening.
As the story goes, the goat belonged to the chowkidar of the village’s church, under construction. The chowkidar usually unleashes the goat for grazing nearby, outside the boundary of the church. That day, at around noon the wife is said to have heard a goat bleating “unusually loud and repeatedly”.
She went to check and to her surprise found the boy engaged in coitus with the goat. The animal was said to be pregnant as well. An alarm was raised which had residents apprehending the fleeing boy. The boy was handed over to the village council who in turn informed the women cell of Dimapur police later in the evening.
However, the ‘handing over procedure’ did not turn out to be as easy as it seemed. Some of the villagers were adamant and did not want the boy to be handed over to the police. This resulted in a standoff of sorts. Women Cell personnel finally took custody of the minor for his safety.
An FIR was also not lodged. The next day it was learned that the boy was again taken into custody of the village in the presence of his parents. The boy being a minor, the police made sure that everything was put down on paper and duly signed before he was handed over.
Taking no chances, the village’s council resolved that the boy and his family would be banished from the village and sent back to their place of origin in Naogaon, Assam.
Interestingly, a similar incident had reportedly occurred in the village last year when a man was caught allegedly for trying to indulge in an unnatural sexual act, this time with a chicken.
