Mangkolemba, September 2 (MExN): The inaugural Mobile Skill Training Program for rural women kicked off today at Town Hall Mangkolemba, marking a significant step toward enhancing skills and employment opportunities for women in the region.
ADC Mangkolemba, Moakumzuk Tzudir, praised the Department of Employment, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship for rolling out the initiative in the subdivisions. He urged the participants to make the most of the skills acquired to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities. Tzudir expressed optimism that similar programs would continue to be organized to unlock the economic potential of the region and the state.
Er. Imlisunep Ao, Principal of ITI Mokokchung, highlighted that this training program is tailored to address the specific challenges faced by rural women. He described the initiative as a vital opportunity for women in rural areas to acquire new skills and enhance their employment prospects. Ao expressed confidence that the training would help women realize their full potential and contribute positively to the socio-economic development of the region. He encouraged participants to use the program as a stepping stone towards self-employment and financial independence.
The program provider introduced the training to women from various villages across the subdivisions, setting the stage for their journey towards skill development and economic empowerment.
