Dimapur, November 16 (MExN): Naga Chef Season 10 commenced at the State Institute of Hotel Management, Dimapur on November 16. Naga Chef is the premier culinary competition of Nagaland with an aim to promote Naga indigenous cuisine and provide an entrepreneurial platform to upcoming Naga chefs.
The annual event is organised by Synergy Group Enterprise supported by the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland, stated a press release received here.
Fourteen participants who have been selected after the screening round will now be tested on both their culinary as well as entrepreneurial skills over the course of the competition. The judges of the first round were Alemjungla Jamir, Founder Naga Bowl Express, Indranil Roychowdhary, Principal SIHM and Sentila T Yanger, Padma Shri awardee and State Convener, INTACH Nagaland Chapter. The winner of the Naga Chef Season 10 will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh.
