A two day Naga Darts Championship 2024 under the aegis of Nagaland Darts Association (NDA) got underway here today at La Colline Resort, Kohima.
The Naga Darts Championship (NDC) is a flagship event of the NDA, designed to bring together the best darts players under one unified platform to encourage competition and elevate the level of play among Naga dart players.
The darts community embraces the NDC as a valuable opportunity to showcase their skills against the top players from across the state, helping to prepare them for national and international competitions.
This event will provide a platform for players to shine while fostering a competitive spirit and mental resilience for future challenges, according to Burakum Ao, Secretary NDA.
Altogether, 36 joined the meet including 12 new players in rookie category.
The opening ceremony was graced by MLA Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso (Ato). He launched the jerseys for 6-member players of Naga Darts team who will be participating at Malayasia Open tournament 2024 at Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) from September 27-29.
Day 1 witnessed the open singles and rookie category game where all players showed their resilience and determination to clinch the prestigious NDA Championship 2024. The meet will continue till September 15.
