A five day long Community First Responder (CFR) training under Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) in collaboration with DDMA Phek & SDRF Phek got underway at Khezhakeno village under Phek district on April 13. The training, hosted by Khezhakeno Youth Organization (KYO) will continue till April 17. Khrolou Koza Lohe, State Capacity Building &Training Officer, NSDMA spoke at the inaugural function. Vithwel Kweho, EAC Khezhakeno also delivered short speech. The programme was led by KYO advisor Pfuche Koza while welcome address was delivered by D Lhouchinyi, VCC, Khezhakeno. Vote of thanks was proposed by KYO president Senovielhou Koza.

Jangpetkong Students’ Conference (JKTM) in collaboration with Impact Hub Institute (IHI) Dimapur conducted an open scholarship test for Jangpetkong range NPSC aspirants on April 13. Phek DPDB monthly meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Vice-Chairman DPDB, Phek Razuovolie Dozo was held at Phek DPDB Conference Hall on April 12. Forest Department, Veterinary Department and Water Resources Department presented on the departmental activities taken up in the District. The members had an interaction with department officials for better coordination and implementation of activities. The registration of LirhuTro Society, Pfutseromi Village was approved.
