Nagaland COVID-19 tally at 657

Nagaland’s tally of COVID-19 cases reached 657 on Wednesday as a total of 13 fresh cases were reported from various districts the state.


According to the daily bulletin issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme, 9 of the new cases were from Dimapur district while Kohima, Mon, Mokokchung and Tuensang reported 1 case each.


However, the state also reported 1 ‘recovered’ case on July 8, taking the total number of recoveries to 304. The recovery was reported from Dimapur. 


With this, the total number of active cases in the state is now at 353.


As per severity of active cases, one has been categorized as ‘moderate,’ while two are ‘mild’ and the rest are asymptomatic, according to the bulletin.
