Nagaland Gov & others greet on Eid-Ul-Fitr

Dimapur, May 2 (MExN): On the occasion of Eid, the Governor of Assam and Nagaland Prof Jagdish Mukhi in his greetings said that Eid festival, also known as the festival of breaking the fast signifies the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramazan. 

A press release from the Governor stated that the celebration is marked by offering religious devotion and observing discipline. It is also a time to relish traditional delicacies, exchanging gifts and offering charity. “On this occasion, I wish you all with good health, peace and happy celebrations,” the Governor stated. 

The Muslim Council Dimapur (MCD) has extended greetings to all citizens of Nagaland on the occasion of Idd-ul-Fitr which is celebrated after a month long prayer and fasting of ‘Ramdan.’ MCD Working President, A Rahman on behalf of the council expressed hope that this Idd will “bring a new era of peace and harmony among all sections of people living in Nagaland.”

The BJP Minority Morcha State Committee in a press note wished Eid mubarak to all Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr. “BJP Minority Morcha further pray that may Allah bring everyone joy and prosperity on this blessed occasion,” Pradip Kumar Jain, State Media Convenor, BJP Minority Morcha said.

Dimapur Bengali Samaj (DBS) extended their greetings to the Muslim brethren on the occasion of Id-Ul-Fitr. “May this festival promote peace and harmony and bring about a lot of happiness and succour to all the community,” Advocate KK Paul, President, DBS said. 

On the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr, Minority Morcha BJP Nagaland wished that “Allah always guides us and shows us the right path. Eid Mubarak!”
