Kohima, January 23 (MExN): In a stride towards enhancing the quality of vocational education, a comprehensive Induction Training Program was conducted for 41 newly recruited trainers of Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland who will be placed on various districts across the State. It was held at Morung Hall, Directorate of School Education (DoSE), Kohima on January 20.

The training session was presided over by Nukshila Angh, State Coordinator for Vocational Education (VE), stated a press release. 

Dr Chumbeni Kikon, Joint Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha, addressed the trainers on the importance of vocational education in today’s educational landscape. Her insights shed light on the transformative potential of vocational education in preparing students for meaningful and sustainable careers. 

Dziesevolie Tsurho, Academic Officer, Nagaland Broad of School Education, guided the trainers on the assessment methodologies and curriculum within the realm of vocational education.

Imdangjungla Jamir, Assistant Manager, Lend A Hand India, shared valuable insights into the current status of the vocational education in the state and outlined the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders within the vocational education system.
