Chümoukedima orgs ask families of assault accused to leave Dimapur

Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): Chümoukedima Town organizations have resolved that the family members of the accused of September 21 assault on a Naga family at Chümoukedima Town will have to "go away" from Dimapur district on or before October 4, 2017. They also decided that all the accused presently under police custody cannot be granted bail or released from jail without facing the due process of law, stated a press release from Kelenguzo Kuotsu, Head GB of Chümoukedima Town. The above resolutions were made at a meeting held on September 27, which was attended by leaders of youth body, students’ union, women organisation, Chamber of Commerce & Trade Association, Auto Drivers Union, GBs, senior leaders, elders and public leaders of Chümoukedima Town.  

GMS Midland 50th anniversary

Kohima, September 30 (MExN): The 50th anniversary of the Government Middle School Midland, Kohima cum panchayat day celebration will take place on October 2, 11:00 am at GMS Midland, Kohima. RMSA director Limawabang Aier will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while Viu Belho, first class contractor will be the guest of honour.
