Dimapur, September 8 (MExN): All the registered landowners from Purana Bazaar to Chümuokedima have been informed “to submit their estimate on respective building/property damage value to the Union Office at 5th Mile, Dimapur, on or before September 11. “Failing which the union shall not be responsible later on,” informed a press release issued by LOU NH-29 Information & Publicity Secretary, Kewetso Kenye.

 

RTO Kma staffs informed on VAHAN 4.0 training 

Kohima, September 8 (MExN): The Regional Transport Officer, Kohima, S Yaongsanglee Chang has informed that “in view of the training on VAHAN 4.0 for the officers and staff members of the Regional Transport Office (RTO) Kohima, there will be no public interview from September 9 to 13.” 

 

Senior citizen get- together at Phek

Phek, September 8 (MExN): The Phek Village Baptist Church (PVBC) has organized a get-together fellowship for senior citizen (75 years and above) on September 12 at 10:30 am at the church premises. Dr Wethselo Tsuhah, senior specialist District Hospital Phek will speak on the occasion and talk on the topic “Senior citizen wellness.”PVBC pastor Nuchicho Venuh will also exhort the gathering.

 

ASAN office bearers 2019-2020

Dimapur, September 8 (MExN): All concerned have been informed that the following will be undertaking the office of Agricultural Students’ Association of Nagaland (ASAN) for the tenure 2019-2020: President, Obed Hollo; Vice President Vepa Lohe; General Secretary,  Kivika Shohe; Assistant General Secretary, Talilemba; Finance Secretary,  Kintemjen Imchen; Literary Secretary, Imnuksungla Lemtor; Cultural Secretary, Rose K Lotha; Statistical Secretary, Mhademo Stephen Patton and Information and Publicity Secretary, Nongothung Murry. This was informed in a press release issued by the President of ASAN, Obed Hollo and General Secretary, Kivika Shohe. It also informed that “it is mandate for all incoming and existing agricultural students and aspirants to be registered under the ASAN.” For further details one may contact the President and General Secretary ASAN.

 

New NSBB chairman appointed

Dimapur, September 8 (MExN): The Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on the recommendation of the selection committee meeting held on August 16, the Government of Nagaland has appointed Satya Prakash Tripathi, IFS (Retd.) as the Chairman of Nagaland State Biodiversity Board (NSBB). This was  informed in a DIPR report.

NSCN (IM) condoles demise of member

Hebron, September 8 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed grief over the demise of Late Temsukhaba Yaden, Khapur of Union Territory (UT), GPRN who passed away on September 8. The NSCN (IM) in a condolence message issued by its MIP cell stated that Late Yaden joined the Naga national service on December 1, 2017 as Kapur of UT and served the Naga nation with “unwavering national spirit” until his demise. “The void created by his demise will be difficult to fill in. For his selfless service rendered for the Naga nation, his name shall be recorded in the pages of Naga history and his sacrifices ever be cherished by all,” the NSCN (IM) said. It further conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to the God to grant the departed soul eternal peace and rest.


 

Dy CM condoles demise of Late Yilobemo Ngullie

Dimapur, September 8 (MExN): The Deputy Chief Minister (Dy CM) and BLP Leader Y Patton has expressed pain over the demise of Late Yilobemo Ngullie, retired Director of Treasury and Accounts who passed away on September 7. Patton in a condolence message issued by the media cell stated that Late Yilobemo was a simple, sincere and humble officer.  He was socially active and a lovable person, he added. “His untimely demise was not only a loss to the family and the village community but a huge loss to the Lotha Naga society in general. With his demise a huge void has been created particularly in the Lotha society which is difficult to fill,” Patton said. The Dy CM further conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to God to grant them comfort to bear the loss, and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
