Governor extends Onam greetings
Kohima, September 10 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland RN Ravi has conveyed his greetings to the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Onam festival. Ravi hoped that Onam festival which symbolizes love, brotherhood, and communal harmony will bring prosperity and happiness to all, stated a press release from the PRO to Governor. “Let the celebration of the festival be a message of equality and oneness,” the Governor wished.
Shop dealers & owners Dimapur notified on document submission
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The Urban/Rural Fair Price Shops dealers/owners of Dimapur district have been notified “to submit the details of their FPS in the prescribe format along with Xerox copy of Aadhaar card of the licensee and personal bank details,” on or before September 13 to the office of the Assistant Director, Food & Civil Supplies Dimapur. This was informed in a press release issued by the Assistant Director Food & Civil Supplies, Dimapur S Kavito Aomi. “Non-compliance will result in cancellation of Fair Price Shop License, Kavito informed.
Asst director F &CS informs PHH & AAY beneficiaries
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The Priority (PHH) and Antyodaya (AAY) beneficiaries have been informed that those “who have not linked their ration card with their Adhaar number for authentication will be deleted” and henceforth “they will not be entitled for any PDS items till their Aadhaar Number is linked with ration card.” This was informed in a press release issued by S Kavito Aomi, Assistant Director, Food & Civil Supplies (F&CS) Dimapur.
Dimapur police apprehends one for extortion
Dimapur, September (MExN): The Dimapur Police apprehended one person namely, Holoho Chishi, a resident of Landmark Colony, Dimapur on charges of extortion on September 10. Chishi was apprehended while demanding money from shopkeeper(s), informed in a press release issued by Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police/PRO, Dimapur. The police recovered one .22 pistol (country made) along with one magazine, cash amount of Rs.1810, one mobile handset and one tax receipt of NSCN/GPRN(R) were seized from his possession, it said. In this connection, a case has been registered at Dimapur West Police Station, it added.
