 Training for drivers under DC Dimapur conducted

Dimapur, September 19 (MExN): A one-day training on protocol, manners and maintenance of vehicles for the drivers under Deputy Commissioner Dimapur was conducted at Dimapur DC’s Conference Hall on September 18. A DIPR report stated that the DC Dimapur, Kevekha Kevin Zehol briefed the gathering on the purpose of conducting the training. Deputy SP (Mechanical), Er Thejaseno  Zhasa, NPS, speaking on the topic “Basic Duties of Drivers in Vehicle Maintenance, Manners and Etiquette,”  highlighted the importance of discipline, necessary skills, safety, sympathy for cars, right attitude, respect for fellow drivers, traffic rules, avoiding mobile phones while driving and confidentiality at professional level. SI, PTS, Rhinilo Rengma, spoke on the topic “Traffic Laws and Rules”. Head Driver, NAPT, Atsa Sangtam also shared his experiences of attending to VVIP duties while Leave Rules were highlighted by UDA, Establishment, Shiluinla.

 

DDGBA appeals Dimapur citizens

Dimapur, September 19 (MExN): The Dimapur District GB Association (DDGBA) has appealed to all its citizens “to make Dimapur clean and keep the environment green.” The Association has also appealed the business establishments and the public to adhere to the State Government directive and order on ban of single use plastics. “The aftermath of using plastics has left a permanent mark on the environment; nevertheless, it is never too late to begin anew,” the DDGBA said in a press release issued by its President Longer Jamir and Secretary, Luikang. It further encouraged the public to carry own carry bags for shopping, use reusable items and degradable items for any celebrations, and urged educational institutions to educate children to use dustbins in and out of school.

 

Unidentified dead body recovered

Dimapur, September 19 (MExN): One unidentified dead body of a male (55 yrs approx) was found below fly over bridge, Dimapur on September 18. “No foul play could be suspected in the cause of death. On completion of all necessary formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur for PM examination / identification,” informed a press release issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police/PRO, Dimapur. It further requested claimant / relatives / friends of the deceased to contact Officer-in-Charge, East Police Station, Dimapur. 

 

DMC administrator to meet Dimapur colony council chairmen

Dimapur, September 19 (MExN): The Administrator, Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), Albert Ezung has convened a meeting with all the colony council chairmen of Dimapur on September 20 at 11:00 am at his Office Chamber. He requested all to make it convenient to attend the said meeting.

 

NSCN (IM) UT-1 recovers 2 wheelers

Dimapur, September 19 (MExN): The NSCN (IM),UT-1  recovered (two) two wheeler bikes, one Royal Enfield engine No U3S5C1HL616051, Chasis No ME3U3S5C1HL537571, Red/black color 350 classic, and one Pulsar 150cc black color, engine No DHZCEH49163, Chasis No MD2A11CZ5ECH69789. Ghokuto Chishi, Secretary Union territory NSCN (IM) in a press release issued has informed the rightful owner “to claim by producing along with original document at the UT-1office within 7 days from the day of report.”

  

NSCN (IM) terminates 6 members

Hebron, September 19 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) today terminated 6 members of the Yimchunger Region. The 6 terminated members are: Chikumkiu, Leacy; C Berimong, Razou Peyu; Akhum, Razou Peyu; M Yanjikhiung, Khapur; K. Punsokiu, Khapur; Heliumong, Khapu. A press release issued by the MIP Cell, NSCN (IM) stated that the recent defection of 6 members of the Yimchunger Region NSCN (IM) to the GPRN/NSCN as reported in the media “is all about misuse of government money after treacherously defying the Yimchunger Region authority.”
