DMC informs traders on alternative to plastic bags
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 20 (MExN): In pursuance of the government order vide No.MA-9/2019: Dtd. Kohima the 20th June 2019, the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has notified all shop owners/traders under its jurisdiction to purchase the alternative to plastic bags such as cloths/jute/paper bags etc from its office at a nominal market rate.
One arrested for selling ‘illegal’ SIM cards
Dimapur, September 20 (MExN): The Dimapur Police apprehended one person namely Nazim Uddin (31 yrs) from NST colony for “illegally selling” pre-activated SIM cards. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police/PRO, Dimapur in a press release infirmed that several pre-activated SIM cards were seized from his possession. In this regard, a case has been registered at East Police Station Dimapur for further investigation.
One apprehended with ‘illegal arms’
Dimapur, September 20 (MExN): The Dimapur Police personnel apprehended one person namely K Lhamsen Konyak (34 yrs) on September 20 from Mayur Hotel, M P Road Dimapur, and recovered/seized one pistol (country-made) with one ammunition from his possession “without proper valid documents.” This was informed in a press release issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police/PRO Dimapur. In this connection, a case has been registered at Dimapur Sub-Urban Police Station, it informed.
ANTHU Dimapur Unit meet today
Dimapur, September 20 (MExN): All the office bearers and silver jubilee committee of All Nagaland Hindi Teacher’s Union(ANTHU) Dimapur Unit have been informed that there will be a meeting at 10:00 am, Place Banker, HSSPK Burma Camp on September 21. This was informed in a press release issued by the ANTHU President, Petemo Lotha and General Secretary H Daniel Sema. It has further requested all the mentioned to attend the meeting without fail.
USLP executives meeting
Kiphire, September 20 (MExN): The United Sangtam Likhum Pumji (USLP) executive convener, Tsikingmong Sangtam has conveyed a USLP executive members meeting on September 24, 9:00 am at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall, Kiphire Hq. He further asked all the executive members to attend the scheduled meeting positively.
