Dimapur, September 21 (MExN): The Nagaland NCC EX Cadet Association (NNCCEXCA) has updated its website and has changed the name of the website. “With the changes many new services has also been added in the website where the ex cadets can register themselves and know more about the association in detail,” informed in a press release issued by Bombo K Yeptho , Media and Information controller NNCCEXCA. MCCI installs new Executive Council
Mokokchung, September 21 (MExN): The Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has formally installed its new Executive Council for the tenure 2019-2022 on September 20. Following the installation ceremony of the new 21-member Executive Council of MCCI, the house also deliberated on some pertinent issues and resolved to take up in all earnestness the matter of installation high-tension power line in Mokokchung town which the chamber has been pursuing since 2017. The house also resolved to formally cooperate with the authorities and citizens of Mokokchung in the campaign against plastic pollution. The house also resolved to safeguard the rights and integrity of the business community while also resolving that erring members would be dealt with befittingly.
APO Angamimia Krüta Kehou
Kohima, September 21 (MExN): The Angami Public Organization (APO) has convened an “Angamimia Krüta Kehou” on September 28 at 10:00 am at Bamboo Hall, Kisama. It requested all the APO executive council members, APO advisory board members, 10-15 leaders from each region (NAPO, SAPO, WAPO & CPO), all the present and former Angami legislators and the former APO presidents and general secretaries to attend the meeting without fail.
New team of ANPSA Kohima unit installed
Kohima, September 21 (MExN): The All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA) Kohima Unit installed a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2019-2022. A press release issued by the President, Zhopota Rhako stated that the new installed office bearers are: Zhopota Rhakho, President; Father C Jaison, Vice President; Kaikhu Achumi, General Secretary; Kepelhouto Nakhro, Joint Secretary; Rokono Seleyi, Treasurer; Annie Konthoujam, Information & Publicity Secretary; Pheluopfhelie Kesiezie, Advisor. The release also stated that as part of the ANPSA Kohima unit annual events, the Association has organised a quiz competition at 8:30 am, St. Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School, Lerie Colony, Kohima on September 28. Shanavas C IAS, Principal Director of School Education, Nagaland, Kohima will grace the Closing Ceremony as the guest of honour. It further asked all participating students to bring their Tiffin & drinking water. “The organizers would provide light refreshment to the participating students,” it informed.
ANHTU Dimapur Unit essay & debate competition
Dimapur, September 21 (MExN): The All Nagaland Hindi Teacher’s Union (ANHTU) Dimapur Unit has organized an essay competition on the topic “Importance of Hindi,” and a debate on “Advantages and disadvantages of social media” at 10:00 am, HSSPK, Burma Camp on September 28. NGBF condoles demise of member
Dimapur, September 21 (MExN): The Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) has expressed pain over the demise of Late Pikuto Shohe GB who passed away at his residence on September 20. The President of NGPF Shahlem Konyak and the Secretary, Media Cell Akhu Naga in a condolence message stated that Late Shohe was one of the pioneer “whose contribution brought all GBs in Dimapur in formation of common platform, in the name of Union or Association.” “He served in various capacities in the GBs Union and association based in Dimapur, which included the Convener of GBs & DBs joined forum Dimapur. He was a brave man who had involved actively in bringing peace during the past factional clashed. In his demise, Nagas have lost a brave soul but his contributions towards society shall be remembered always,” the NGBF said. The Federation further expressed their condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for departed soul to rest in peace.
