ANCSU convenes ‘extraordinary Assembly’

Kohima, September 23 (MExN): The Union unit of All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has been notified that and ‘extraordinary Assembly’ has been convened at 11:00 am, ANCSU Office Naga Club Building, Kohima on September 28. This was informed in a press release issued by Kuzoto Lohe, ANCSU Tribunal General. It further asked the units to delegate two representatives each to the said assembly. “The representative should be regular college student and must obtain authorization letter from the college union/council if the concerned president/general is unable to attend. The representative must also produce valid students ID card of the respective college while attending the assembly,” it informed.

 

YUK informs  on registration 

Kohima, September 23 (MExN): The  Yimchunger Union Kohima(YUK) has informed all concerned in and around Kohima keeping domestic servants/helpers from Yimchunger community on the ground of giving education or training, “to register  the his/her name” with the Union “with immediate effect, so as to avoid any future complications in case of any untoward incident.” This was informed in a press release issued by the YUK President, John Tochimong and Press & information Secretary, Kezhangulie Yimchunger. “In case, there are some persons who have left with the registered employees, the employers are requested to kindly inform the Union. Failing to comply, the YUK will not be held responsible in any incident whatsoever,” it informed. LMRSU informs

Wokha, September 23 (MExN): The Lotha Middle Range Students’ Union (LMRSU) will be conducting an education case study tour under its jurisdiction of the 32 villages, as well as to its 26 affiliated village under Wokha district of the 5 circle/range from September 24 to October 3 on the topic “Government school and quality education.” In this regard, the union through its president, Er Pipen Jungio and Yentsao Y Kithan, assistant general secretary in a press release has informed all the village/ circle president and village councils members of its jurisdiction as well as government employs and teachers under Lotha Middle Range “to be stationed on the aforesaid date in order to conduct proper coordination on the case study tour.”


 
ABBNSS Nagaland conference on anti-corruption 

Maharashtra, September 23 (MExN): A delegation of Akhil Bhartiya Bhrastachar Nirmulan Sangharshi Samiti (ABBNSS) Nagaland Unit led by Kedou Rüpreo attended a National conference on ‘Anti-corruption’ at Latur, Maharashtra on September 17 and 18. A press release issued by R Sopu Angami, President stated that Manoj Kumar Tomar, North East incharge of Delhi, graced the occasion as chief guest and exhorted the gathering to fight corruption beginning from the grass root level. The Nagaland team had approached the national leaders to hold national conference at Kohima during 2021 and the matter is under discussion, the release said. It also stated that the state team had been advised to establish at the grass root and keep vigil on all the departments in the State. 

 

General Manager DIC, Peren informs

Peren, September 23 (MExN): The General Manager of District Industries Centre (DIC) Peren has informed all the applicants of Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) for the year 2019-2020 under Peren District that the interview for selection el beneficiaries would be conducted on October 4, 10:30 am at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, New Peren Headquarters. All the applicants under DIC and NKVIB have been informed to produce original documents on the day of interview. No separate calling letter shall be issued to the applicants, he added.
