‘Walking in the King’s Highway’ DVD released
Wokha, January 25 (MExN): The much-awaited video DVD of selected Christian hymns titled ‘Walking in the King’s Highway’ by the Children Choir Wokha was released on January 24 at Hornbill Restaurant Wokha. WTBC, Associate Pastor, Abemo Jungio officially released the DVD with thanksgiving and blessing prayer. Recording and mixing of vocals, videography and editing was done by Khyopenthung Tsopoe, Proprietor, Dream Records (dR), Audio-Visual Studio, Wokha. The Directors informed that the Children Choir was formed in the year 2012 with the objective of imparting basic knowledge of music to the younger generation and preparing them to excel in the field of singing.
The three directors and the choir members express their heart-felt gratitude to all individuals, families, churches and well-wishers who had contributed in making this dream project become a reality.
The DVDs will be available at M/W Printing Press, Ground Floor, below Hornbill Restaurant Wokha.
NSSATA meeting on January 28
Kohima, January 25 (MExN): The Nagaland SSA Teachers' Association (NSSATA) has inform all its districts and sub divisional units that a meeting has been called by All Nagaland School Teachers' Association (ANSTA) on January 28, 11:00 am at CANSSEA office conference hall, Sepfuzou colony, high school road, Kohima. The Association in a press release has informed that at least 5 representatives from all districts and sub divisional units are to attend the said meeting positively and failing which would be consequential to no further inclusion.
Fly past Indian Air Force helicopter
Dimapur, January 25 (MExN): The Indian Air Force will be flying the Russian origin Helicopter during the RD parade at the Civil Secretariat Kohima. The Captain is Wing Commander Tarun Chaudhari, Shaurya Chakra and Co - pilot will be Flight Lieutenant Abhishek Shukla. The high performance aircraft from the 110 Helicopter Unit IAF based at Silchar, Assam along with highly qualified crew have been especially detailed by the Indian Air Force to participate in the RD parade at Kohima. The fly past will take place at be at 9:45 am. This was stated in a press release issued by Director Sainik Welfare Nagaland.
ABAM Sunday School Teachers’ Triennial Conference
Mokokchung, January 25 (MExN): The 9th Ao Baptist Church Council (ABAM) Sunday School Teachers’ Triennial Conference will be held at Impur from February 4 to 6 at ABAM Mission Centre, Impur. Informing this in a press note, the ABAM Sunday School Promoter, Sashi Walling requested all the churches affiliated with ABAM to arrange and send the Sunday school teachers to the conference. It also informed that a ‘mess hall’ will be opened during the conference, and added that the mess charge will be Rs 850 per head. The note also informed that Sunday school books will be sold during the conference and therefore asked the delegates to come prepared.
