Dimapur, February 4 (MExN): The Chimonger Village Employees’ Union (CVEU) will have an executive meeting cum farewell programme on February 8 and 9 at Chimonger Village, Tuensang. Kohima, February 4 (DIPR): A Coffee-Table book published in commemoration of 50 years of Statehood, titled, “NAGALAND (1963-2012) FIFTY YEARS ON” is on sale at DIPR and DPRO’s office, Kohima. Prices for hardbound copy is Rs. 800 and paperback copy is Rs. 300.
NGSOF informs
Kohima, February 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Govt. Senior Officer Forum (NGSOF) informed all the senior employees in different departments under the Government of Nagaland who are retiring after Ist March, 2014 to attend meeting to be held on February 7 at 2:30 PM at Hotel Japfu, Kohima to discuss the enhancement of length of service as well as for the welfare of the government. This was stated in a release issued by T. Lipok Jamir, acting president NGSOF.

Dimapur, February 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Seva Dal will hold a meeting with All India Congress Seva dal organizer in charge state of Nagaland on February 6 at Congress Bhavan Dimapur at 11:00 am. Renewal of DMC trade licence
Dimapur, February 4 (MExN): All business establishment and shopkeepers under DMC jurisdiction are informed that renewal of DMC trade licence for the year 2014 is extended up to February 28. ADC Dimapur K Tarep Imchen in a press release stated that the expiry date was earlier scheduled on January 31, 2014. However, the date is extended for the convenience of the trader. He also added that on expiry of the grace period, necessary late fine shall be charged as per DMC’s standing order. Therefore, all the traders are requested to get renewed their respective trade licence on or before February 28 without fail.

Kohima, February 4 (MExN): The Sangtam Union Kohima will hold its 42nd general meeting on February 8 at the State Academy Hall, Kohima at 10:00 AM. Parliamentary secretary for power C. Kipili Sangtam will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Stating this in a release SUK president Seopi Sangtam requested all the Sangtam residents of Kohima to attend the meeting positively.

Kohima, February 4 (MExN): The Siimai (Saranamai) village authority council notified all the male citizens of Saranamai three villagers that a serious emergency meeting has been scheduled on February 8 at Roveidziikhao. In this connection, all the male citizens of Saranamai three villagers station far and wide have been asked to attend the said meeting compulsorily, “ failing of which a life boycott shall be imposed.”

Chozuba, February 4 (MExN): Director of School Education (HS) Kükusho Phesa-o on February 1 inaugurated the newly upgraded GPS-C to GMS Chozuba Village named after “Khutsazho.” Pastor Katsümu Shijo CRCC invoked God’s blessing.
