The 43rd Foundation Day-cum-Church dedication Service of Nagaland Christian Revival Church, Sumi Lower PWD, Kohima was held on April 29 with the theme  ‘This is the Lord’s Doing (Psalms 118:23).’The Executive Secretary, NCRC Sumi, Rev Vitoka Kinimi dedicated the new church building and shared the word of God. Sumi Baptist Church Kohima (SBCK), Sumi Aphuyemi Baptist Church, Kohima (SABCK) and Churches from other communities were also a part of the programme. (DIPR Photo) 

ICAR Dimapur in collaboration with Noklak Police provided 190 piglets, medicines, vaccines and feed in two batches along with two sessions of training to Noklak farmers-cum-entrepreneurs. Altogether 66 farmers from 20 villages were benefited. Dr Mahak and Dr Tali visited Noklak as resource persons and taught the farmers about various aspects of running piggeries. During the training session, SP Noklak Dr Pritpal Kaur stated that it would help in empowerment of society and guiding educated youth towards entrepreneurship and self sufficiency. 

The Sao Chang College observed its 47th Parting Social Programme on April 29 for the outgoing batch of 2019-22. The occasion was graced by late Sao Chang’s family as special invitees. Various speakers encouraged the students to continue being exemplary citizens of the nation and to live up to the values and dreams envisioned by late Sao Chang. 

The Directorate of Soil & Water Conservation bade farewell to two of its staff, S Limatula Ao (Cartographist ) and Avino Thapo (Stenographer  Grade II) in a warm formal programme. Department officials and colleagues acknowledged the retiring staff for contributing immensely towards the Department’s growth and praised them for their efficiency and pleasant work ethics.
