Mokokchung District Legal Service Authority (MDLSA) under the aegis of NSLSA and as per the common action plan organised an awareness programme on February 24. It was attended by Child Helpline Mokokchung, District Child Protection Unit, Women Police, Sakhi One Stop Centre, Child Welfare Committee and MDLSA. The event focused on NALSA scheme for victims of trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation, 2015. Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary of MDLSA, Julian Sitlhou sensitized the attendees to the Scheme. On NALSA Child-Friendly Legal Services Scheme 2024, she highlighted the establishment of Legal Services Units for Children in every district, aiming to provide accessible and supportive legal services to children. She also spoke on the LSUC role in assisting the child victim of crimes and trafficking. During the interactive session, stakeholders discussed and addressed concerns related to the scheme.
A team of 24 students from Department of Political Science, Mount Mary College, Chümoukedima, undertook a three-day expedition to Dzükou Valley, led by faculty in-charges Nzanthung Lapon and Tiameren from February 20 to 22. A key highlight was a discussion with valley management, where students gained insights into environmental governance, tourism policies and conservation efforts. The trip concluded with a cleanliness drive. 
Dimapur Town Nepali Baptist Church, Duncan, held a joint Devotional service with Pokhara Christian Community (PCC), Nepal on February 23. The event featured Prodmod Mulmi, a guest speaker from PCC Nepal, who delivered a message titled "Birds of Talk" based on 11 biblical references.
Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN) conducted a workshop on the importance of regulatory business compliances and documentation. The event supported by SIDBI, with knowledge partners being SBI and DIC, took place in Tuensang and Noklak districts on February 21. The primary focus of the workshop was to enlighten women entrepreneurs about the critical aspects of business compliance and proper documentation. The event saw participation from a diverse group of aspiring and established women entrepreneurs from the districts. Key topics covered during the workshop are- Importance of Financial Literacy for Entrepreneurs, overview of Government Schemes Supporting Entrepreneurs and Business Compliances and Documentation.
