Oriental College, Kohima conducted Faculty Development Programme on “Language and Empathy” on February 28 with Vibha Lakhera, founder of ‘Project Empathy’ as the resource person. In her speech Lakhera defined how empathy can enable one to identify the need of ourselves and others, one can gain tools to communicate more effectively and can find solutions. Empathy can be a stepping stone to tolerance and well- being of any strong community, Lakhesa said.

All together 62 women took part in three days training with Atoli Sema, Pickle Trainer and K Danlunla, Baking Trainer. Chümoukedima District EAC Mhashumi Ezung said that the objective of the training was to empower women folks and to help them to be economically self sufficient.
