Dimapur Meetei Council Youth Wings’ observing its Foundation Day on June 10 distributed food near Railway foot bridge, Dimapur under the guidance of its parent body Dimapur Meetei Council (DMC).
 
PHE Minister Jacob Zhimomi paid a brief visit to Fazl Ali College on June 7 and planted a tree sapling in the campus. During his interaction with the faculty, he wished the college well in its endeavours. He also inspected the water supply facilities and said that the department will help in improving the water infrastructure of the college.
 
Neingulie Memorial High School, Dimapur observed World Environment Day with the students taking part in cleanliness and plantation drive and painting competition to mark the event.
 
A one-day orientation on NQAS under Quality Assurance was held at CMO office, Zunheboto on June 11. Dr. Thungchanbeni Patton, DPM (QA) gave an overview of National Quality Assurance programme. She also highlighted about the infection Control & Bio-Medical Waste Management. Dr. Alemsenla, MO (AYUSH) DH, Zunheboto highlighted about Assessment Protocols and Scoring system log NQAS and Area of concern. In the second session Dr. Thungchanbeni, briefed about Gap Analysis and Planning and also gave a brief note about Kayakalp. The meeting was attended by Block Medical Officers and BPMs.
 
Kohima Chakhesang Students’ Union observed the World Environment Day at Lerie KCSU Land plot situated below Kohima Helipad, sponsored by the Social Forestry Division, Kohima under the Department of Forest, Ecology, Environment and Wildlife with the theme ‘Beat Plastic Pollurion’ on June 5.
