Understanding its social responsibility the 173 Bn CRPF Airfield, Dimapur conducted a civic action programme at Unit Headquarters on September 9 in which the battalion distributed water storage (Sintex) to the ‘poor and needy people’ of the area. Speaking on this occasion Vishnu Gautam, Commandant 173 Bn CRPF, underlined the need of such programmes for bridging the gap between Security Forces and local populace.
