DIMAPUR, APRIL 1 (MExN): The Nagaland Press Association (NPA) has expressed grief at the passing away of Solo Thong, the father of Kohima Press Club President, Alice Yhoshu after a brief illness in Dimapur. He was 67.
A press release from the NPA President, H Chishi said: “The lessons taught by a father as loving and wise as yours will last a lifetime. May you and your familymembers always feel his presence forever. You were blessed to have a father so special and caring. Theguidinglight of a father’s wisdom is a gift that lasts forever.”
It stated that Thong left a permanent imprint on the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. “He willbegreatly missed. We are so sorry for your loss,” while extending condolences to the bereaved family members.
DPC: The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) has mourned the demise of Solo Thong, father of Alice Yhoshü, President, Kohima Press Club, who passed away on April 1 in Dimapur.
At this hour of grief, the DPC conveys its heartfelt condolences to Alice Yhoshü and all the bereaved family members and pray that the departed soul rest in eternal peace, DPC President Dilip Sharma said in a condolence message.
KPC: The Kohima Press Club (KPC) expressed sadness at the demise away of Solo Thong, the father of Kohima Press Club President, Alice Yhoshu in Dimapur on April 1.
“We can understand the pain and agony you will be undergoing at this hour of having lost your precious father. Yet, in this time of loss and sadness too, may you see your father’s wisdom as he responsibly served the government and also shouldered social responsibilities with honesty and sincerity during his lifetime,” KPC General Secretary Atono Tsükrü Kense said in a note.
KPC prays to Almighty God to grant comfort and solace to the bereaved family. “We pray that you will continue to feel and see your fathers love and protection in all that you do and hear his words of wisdom guiding you, and pray that you can find strength and healing in the memories he leaves behind,” KPC conveyed.
