Dimapur, March 30 (MExN): Commemorating with the 39th foundation day and with the assistance of NABARD under Financial Inclusion Fund (FIF), the Nagaland Rural Bank (NRB) launched its first ATM mobile van services at Pughoboto sub division on March 30. 

MLA Y Vikheho Swu flagged off the ATM mobile van while NABARD Dimapur Region, General Manager, Tiakala inaugurated ATM Machine, stated a press release. 

The NRB, Chairman, VV Narayana said requested the public to open their accounts with NRB and make use of this facility. “Now the Bank has taken up with RBI for getting approval for launching of Mobile Banking Services,” he affirmed that the “bank is ready to serve the State in all means.”

He informed that the bank will open two new branches under un-banked blocks i.e. Sakshi in Longlen and Chessore is Shamator. He also said that the Bank will launch its second ATM mobile van services during June 2022 at Mokokchung. 

The chairman thanked the ADC ThungchanbemoTungoe, who supported the idea from day one and encouraged the BANK in going for ATM mobile van. 

Nagaland Rural Bank was established on March 30, 1983 and is jointly owned by the Government of India, Government of Nagaland and State Bank of India.
