Some of those who voted YES had this to say:

Some of those who voted NO had this to say:

•    Obviously No… and our government is just so ignorant about this issue.

•    Forget reliable. There is no infrastructure in the first place. Also panic will kill us before the COVID19 does.

•    No I don't believe so. Even more than the minimum facilities that we have, I find that just like in other fields health workers are downright lazy and irresponsible. It's a shame. People need to change in this state.

•    No. Praying that there's no outbreak... we'll be doomed

•    Nagaland does not even have a Covid19 testing facility unlike other NE states and looks like our procrastination attitude is going to take us to glory.

Our state's commercial hub Dimapur is cornered too close to Assam. God forbids if it reaches here, there is no way Nagaland can deal with the outbreak. Even Western countries with far better equipments are calling for country wide shut down.

Our precautionary methods are mostly on paper advertisements and notices.

Let's not play smart here but rather play safe. Shut big events, educational institutions, all tourists etc except emergency services.

Everyone knows our health services and infrastructure are far from being reliable even for other health issues, it’s one of the worst. So forget coronavirus... the answer is NO.

•    First, Doctors will give excuses and abstain from duties. Even in normal circumstances most are neglecting duties in favor of private clinics. It's NO.

•    Considering an assumptive strength of 1000 doctors for 2 million populations, 1:2000 will be an impossible ratio. Moreover, we don't have adequate equipments to handle mass emergency.

•    No. We don't have adequate equipments

•    No, because this factor as well & major population of the state is rural.

•    I don't think so. Go have a look at NHAK, the premier goverment hospital in Nagaland. Some ward ceilings are just about to fall on top of the patients. The floors have so many craters; imagine a patient who had just completed surgery on a stretcher or wheelchair rolling over those bumpy cavities. Some bed stand/post had to be increased with bricks and stones to keep it leveled ... and not to forget giant rats roaming inside the wards. When such is the state for even the most basic..., and now we are taking of isolation ward with top medical facilities...? For how many patients?

Some of those who voted OTHERS had this to say:

•    Don’t want to say the obvious answer. So, others!

•    COVID -19 though contagious, the good news is that people recover from it.. Contracting the virus does not mean that we are sure to die, yes people recover from it. We have to make sure that we follow the precautionary measures and most important ‘Not To Panic’, and let’s be responsible in our use of social media and avoid spreading unwanted and unsolicited messages, though it may be easier said than done. As for our Health Infrastructure, we are still lacking behind, and we have still work to do to achieve that. However, whenever any calamity or disaster strikes, COLLECTIVE EFFORT is the answer.

•    So far our state has not hit by a pandemic, thankfully. But the general observation to the present context does not seem to be optimistic given the fact that most other infra facilities & services are either in want of drastic overhauling or characterized by entropy. And health sector maybe no exception. Regardless, things will ultimately depend on people's awareness and compliance to safety standards.

•    If doctors go on leave due to non availability of protective gears will the government sack them?

•    First of all what is the budget for state health emergencies?
