Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): The year-long golden jubilee celebration of Nagaland Bar Association (NBA) will culminate on September 27 at Agri Expo, 4th Mile, Dimapur.
NBA in a press release stated that Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland will grace the inaugural session as guest of honor, which will begin at 10:00 am. The speaker for the session on the theme “50 years of Nagaland Bar Association” will be Justice HK Sema, Supreme Court Judge (Rtd).
The business session to be held at 2:00 pm will be graced by Justice Songkhupchung Serto, Judge, Guwahati High Court, Kohima Bench, as the jubilee honored guest. The speaker for the session on the topic “Celebrating our past, inspiring the future” will be Justice W.A. Shishak, former Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.
The Cultural Session at 4:30 pm will be graced by jubilee honored guest Dr SC Jamir, former Governor and ex Chief Minister. Highlights of the session are: Naga Kaleidoscope by four tribal troupes; Traditional Weaves, “the legal fraternity- bouquets and brickbats” by Dreamz Unlimited; Nagagenous and exquisite performances by different artists.
The NBA has invited all concerned to attend the said programme. It further requested the Bar members to be at the venue 9:30 am sharp.
