NCA hosts 3rd North East Curator Orientation Program

DIMAPUR, JUNE 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) recently concluded the 3rd North East Curator Orientation Program, held at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium in Sovima. Organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the program aimed to enhance groundskeeping skills among 32 participants from various North Eastern states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.

Ashish K Bhowmik, Chief Curator at BCCI, and Taposh Chatterjee, Elite Panel Curator, were instrumental in delivering insights during the program. On the opening day, Hyunilo Anilo Khing, Secretary of NCA, extended a warm welcome to the educators and participants. The concluding day featured an address by Kechangulie Rio, President of NCA.

Participants expressed their gratitude for the practical learning experience and the exceptional hospitality provided by NCA. Krishna Chettri from the Sikkim Cricket Association (SICA) commended the hands-on approach and thanked NCA for hosting the event. Teli Ringu Camdir of the Arunachal Pradesh Cricket Association (ARCA) emphasized the program’s positive impact on outfield maintenance and ground renovation. Shyam Chand from the Manipur Cricket Association (Manipur CA) praised the valuable insights shared by BCCI educators.
