Dimapur, February 23 (MExN): Demonstration of fire extinguishing to NCC Cadets by personnel of Fire Station Dimapur West, Dimapur was conducted at the ongoing NCC Training Classes of NCC Cadets held at Dimapur Government College, Dimapur. Approx 150 NCC Cadets of senior Division of 24 Nagaland (I) Coy witnessed the demonstration. 

The demonstration was conducted by a team under Inspector Nozoto Angami, SI M Martin, 02 x ASI alonwg with seven Jawans from Fire Station Dimapur West. They imparted theory and practical classes for cadets on fire fighting which included types of fire, causes of fire, handling of various fire equipments and prevention of fire accidents, stated a press release. 

Col Daniel Lotzem, Commanding Officer, 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC motivated the cadets to work hard and make full use of the training being imparted during the training. He emphasized on the importance of fire fighting drills and its practical applications in day to day life. 

The commanding Officer on behalf of Group Headquarter NCC Kohima and 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC Kohima expressed gratitude to the team of Fire Station Dimapur West for conducting the fire fighting capsule for the cadets.
