
Mokokchung, October 8 (MExN): The 10-day NCC camp organised by 25 NCC Unit Mokokchung, oldest Nagaland NCC unit culminated on October 7 at DEF, Mokokchung.
The camp was attended by NCC cadets from different colleges and schools of Mon, Tuensang, Zunheboto, Mokokchung and Longleng district.
During the camp, the cadets were engaged in various events and programmes including the 22 Rifle firing, education lectures with demonstration by different department namely Medical department, NDRF (Disaster Management), Fire Department, Child & Welfare. Seminars related to education scholarship, personality development and career counseling were also conducted.
The camp commander, Col V Ahlawat congratulated all the cadets for a great show of community living and participating in nation building and encouraged all cadets to be good human beings and be role model in which ever field one pursues. He also thanked the 44 AR for organising 'super arms' display and 173 CRPF for providing camp location and administrative help. NCC Group Commander, Brig SS Dhankhar gave away the prizes to the cadets.
