NSDCF Ltd-already professionals, getting ready for their new product MilkCom.
Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): A three day program was held from March 18 to 20, facilitated at the Nagaland State Dairy Cooperative Federation Ltd (NSDCF Ltd.), Lerie, Kohima which was attended by the team led by its M.D. Dr. Akho Yhokha. The training focused on Positive Attitude, Motivation and Teamwork at the workplace, Effective Communication, Assertiveness, Time Management, and Customer Service. The program used a facilitative style with inputs from the consultant and the trainees, along with case studies, videos, discussions and role plays. This was informed in a press note received here.
It informed that NSDCF Ltd. is working on its new product Milk Com that will produce milk products such as lassi, dahi and others with a longer shelf life. The team is also preparing to get into drinking water distillery and have already procured machinery from Shanghai. It is heartening to note that the team is working hard to create these new products under the new brand Milk Com.
The note also mentioned that an idea that started in 2012 between YouthNet and SMARTER Nagaland, NCDC (Nagaland Career and Development Centre) has been a big hit and those who have attended this soft skills training have vouched for it. Progressive organisations, departments and various offices that believe in working smart, efficient and bringing the best out of their team members have been a part it. Having already trained over 2300 people including over 200 officers, NCDC has been in high demand. In the note, YouthNet Consultant Talichila Imchen confirms that programs are booked till June 2013. She says “Professional skills are the backbone of an efficient workplace. Administrative personnel in various institutions face many challenges while discharging their duties every day. Honing their professional skills enables them to handle these challenges and carry out their responsibilities to the satisfaction of all stakeholders”.
The note informs that Professional Skills Development is a program that caters specifically to the unique requirements of people who carry out tasks and interact with a wide range of audiences. The objective of the Professional Skills Development Programme is to enhance awareness of the key skills that their job requires and carry out responsibilities efficiently, The note mentioned that NCDC is now advancing to train other departments and organizations to facilitate this special program and added “We are grateful to all the Directors and Senior Officers who have shown their kind interest, understanding and support.
