Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): An NDPP delegation visited Bokakhat in Assam and called on President of the AGP Atul Bora to convey solidarity in the ensuing Assam Assembly elections. Solidarity messages on behalf of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and NDPP President Chingwang Konyak were also conveyed to the AGP leadership, a press release informed on Friday.
According to the press release, the NDPP and AGP are both members of the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) and share close bonds of friendship and solidarity. The NDPP also conveyed its best wishes to its alliance partner, BJP which is in a pre-poll alliance with the AGP.
AGP President Atul Bora expressed gratitude to the NDPP for the morale support and solidarity and hoped that the friendly relations would further be strengthened in the interest of the region and the welfare of the people.
