Dimapur, January 23 (MExN): North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) conducted one day orientation for its faculty and the management on January 19 at the institute premises.
Dr RK Behera, Dean of Social Sciences, Patkai Christian College facilitated the orientation on the relevance and requirement of higher education. He highlighted the various knowledge resources that could be availed and utilized by the students and faculty in enhancing academic performance. Additionally, the minimum requirements expected of any forward looking academic institutions were enumerated such as job placement cell, alumni association, adopting of villages by the institute, inclusive admission policy, organizing seminars and programmes.
The orientation concluded with the delivery of vote of thanks by the Public Relations Officer, Meriakthule Chewang.
