Former Arunachal CM to address 75th Quit India Movement commemoration   Dimapur, August 4 (MExN): The NPCC will observe the 75th Anniversary (Platinum Jubilee) of the Quit India Movement on August 8, 10:00 am at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur. Former Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Nabam Tuki, and Takam Sanjoy, President, Arunachal PCC will address the programme. The NPCC in this regard has requested all concerned to attend the programme.     UBCANEI Youth Day cum Combined Service   Dimapur, August 4 (MExN): The United Baptist Churches Association North East India (UBCANEI) will have its youth day cum combined service on August 6, 3:00 pm at UBC, Midland Dimapur. Moses Y. Fithu, Finance Secretary cum Youth Evangelist, UBCANEI will be the speaker on the occasion. All the youth departments of churches under UBCANEI are informed to attend the service.     YUK to celebrate Metümneo   Kohima, August 4 (MExN): The Yimchungrü Union Kohima (YUK) will be celebrating Metümneo, the premier festival of Yimchungrü Community on August 8, 10:00 am at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama. Highlights of the programme include Cultural Folk Song and Dances to be presented by Yimchung Berü Cultural Club, Kohima among many others. Meanwhile, the Union has appealed all government offices and educational institutions to grant one day leave to all its members as per the Restricted Holiday mentioned in the government calendar. The Union has also appealed all Yimchungrü residing in and around Kohima and well wishers to join the celebration.
