Dimapur: Shops to be open on Sundays till Oct 15 Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming Durga Puja and Diwali festivals, Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has issued a notification that the shopkeepers/ business establishments other than workshops/factories/industries etc may keep their shops open on all Sundays from September 10 till October 15 for the convenience of the festival customers. The notification was issued by DMC Administrator, Moa Sangtam.   ANGPTA Dimapur informs Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): The ANGPTA Dimapur has informed that the unit will be collecting data of all untrained under-matriculate and matriculate Primary Teachers of Dimapur. Hence, all the teachers concerned have been requested to bring photocopy of their appointment order and education qualification at SDEO Dimapur canteen on September 6 from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm. For more details, contact @ 7005502078/8974517526.   DOME condemns AR raid Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): The Dimapur Odyuo Motsurui Ekhung (DOME) has condemned the midnight raid at the house of Robert Odyuo by Assam Rifles without any warrant on August 24. The union in a press statement said Robert is an innocent government officer and also a bonafide member of the Ekhung. “The traumatic and fear psychosis inflicted to the children while their parents were out of station is a treacherous act in nature,” it added. The union appealed to the security forces not to conduct such searches on innocent civilians without any credible evidence.   NSCN (IM) UT-I informs Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): As directed by the Ministry of Kilo Affairs, the Union Territory-I of NSCN (IM) has given final call (information) to all the Steering Committee members, Kilonsers, Deputy Kilonsers, Tatars, PROs, POs, APOs, Leacys, Razou Peyus, Khapurs, and RSIs to submit their personal bio-data to its Regional Office before September 15 during the office hour. This was informed by MIP, NSCN (IM) in a press release.   PHH rice distribution in Purana Bazaar Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): All the PHH ration card holders of Purana Bazaar, Dimapur have been informed that there will be a distribution of PHH rice on September 6 at the council hall, Purana Bazaar. Therefore, Ntongsi Ngullie, GB, Purana Bazaar has informed all the concerned card holders to come and collect the rice according to timing mentioned below: Model colony – 7:00 am to 10:00 am; Jorapukhri – 10:00 am to 11:00 am; New colony – 11:00 am to 12:00 pm; Mt View colony – 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm; Middle colony – 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm; High School colony – 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. All the ration card holders are to submit a photocopy of ration card along with Aadhaar card of the entire family while collecting rice, the GB said in a press release.   Training for election officials cancelled Zunheboto, September 5 (MExN): Assistant Election Officer, Zunheboto, Chisho K Swu has informed all AEROs, Supervisors and BLOs under Zunheboto district that the orientation and training scheduled on September 8 for AEROs and Supervisors and on September 14 for BLOs has been cancelled. All stakeholders have been requested to take note of the same.
