Nripendra Bhattacharyya
Maligaon, January 30 (MExN): Nripendra Bhattacharyya, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has been honoured with the Doctorate Degree of Journalism by Global Peace University, Delware, United States of America on January 23 during the National Conference of Newspaper Association of India held at Punjab Culture Centre, Chandigarh.
According to an update from the NFR, during the COVID-19 pandemic period, Bhattacharyya has been playing an excellent role through print and electronic media informing the public about important day to day activities of the Railways like running of 24x7 good services, Shramik Specials and Special train services.
During the conference, Bhattacharyya joined in a seminar on ‘Establishing Global Peace’ which was organised by Global Council for Professional Education Mission in association with Global Achievers Council.
Bhattacharyya also won the National Achievement Award in 2017 at New Delhi as Best Public Relation Officer in India.
He has been honoured and awarded many times by the Government and many public organisations in addition to Indian Railways for his outstanding Public Relations and Journalism activities in different fields.
