Dimapur, November 24 (MExN): NITI (Nationalist Institute of Technology & Innovation), Nagaland organised a workshop, for the benefit of its interested freshers on making proper biodata for applying to the potential opportunities, at its Dimapur Center on November 23. NITI Nagaland in a press release stated that “75% of the freshers in Nagaland are not aware of making proper biodata.”
The resource person, Ajay Sethi, Founder & Managing Director of LIMPL defined the difference between a resume, CV and biodata, besides elaborating the needs of the local, regional and national organisations. He stressed upon the need for volunteerism to gain experience, as well as to participate actively in the group discussions, the release stated.

Sethi emphasised upon the NITIans to apply to the right kind of organisations by matching their needs and respective aptitude, after specific customisation of the biodata with relevant documents enclosures.
Elaborating on the multitasking roles that freshers need to adapt in the smaller organisations, Sethi stressed the fundamental needs of any organisation besides professional expertise.
He also advised NITIans to use the proper format besides mentioning about short term, long term and lifetime goals. Mentioning of common reference can also be an added advantage, besides highlighting respective strengths and achievements.

CEO NITI Er Rishav Sethi informed that the gap between the demand of the recruiting organisations and supply of the matching manpower is huge which calls for the graduates in Nagaland to learn the required skills for better opportunities knocking on their doors.
NITI will be organising mock sessions for the interviews to maintain the edge for NITIans’ recruitments in the best of the organisations within and outside Nagaland, the release added.
