Dimapur, September 23 (MExN): The Naga National Council (Parent Body) NNC (PB) today welcomed the Naga Student Federation (NSF) and Naga Student Union Delhi (NSUD) for organizing a rally “in support of acceptable and honorable political solution for the Naga homeland” in Delhi which will be held on September 25.
The NNC (PB) in a press release issued by its Information & Publicity wing stated that this was a “wise and bold decision” for the cause of Naga freedom by the student body. “Your wisdom and noble work for the Naga people and cause at this crucial time is right and should be supported by one and all,” it said.
“Your exercise of democratic right for the cause of human problem of seven decades in the capital city of the largest democracy in the world should be supported by the citizens of India too as the political negotiation is also twenty three years running and the longest in the world,” it added.
The NNC (PB) further appealed to all the Naga people in the homeland “to support prayerfully and in whatever way possible for this wise and noble work for the cause by our students.”
