Dimapur, June 19 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) celebrated the birthday of Rahul Gandhi, former AICC President.
A press release from the Communication Department, NPCC stated that a brief function was held at the residence of Dimapur DCC President which was attended by PCC officials and invited officials from DUCCCF, Dimapur Sadar GBs Association and Naga Women Hoho Dimapur. Strict social distancing was maintained during the function. Before starting the meeting, two minutes silence was observed in remembrance of the brave soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while defending the nation.
The programme was chaired by Temjenyanger, Secretary NPCC, invocation by Ajit Gogoi, General Secretary of NPCC Minority Department, welcome address by Tsenthungo Nyamo, President Dimapur DCC with speeches from K Therie, President NPCC, Bobby Panicker, Working President NPCC, X Chophika Sumi, President NSUI Nagaland and Rajesh Sethi, Chairman of NPCC Minority Department.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Wainungla, General Secretary of Dimapur Mahila Congress Committee.
Later, 2000 relief food packets were distributed to needy people in different colonies according to list prepared in consultation with colony chairman and GBs.
