DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 14 (MExN): The Nagaland State unit of the National People’s Party (NPP) has been revamped with a new team of officials led by Dr. Andrew Ahoto as the President and Limanuksung Longkumer as the General Secretary.
A press release from the NPP Nagaland unit stated that “the present change has to be construed as beneficial for the golden future of our party in Nagaland and also for the benefit of the larger interests of the Nagas in general.” More new appointments would be made soon, it informed.
This change in leadership, the party stated, “is not for any personal gains or vested interests but rest assured we will aspire to prosper together as one family.” The NPP Nagaland informed that the updated list of the new team members of NPP Nagaland would be out shortly for general information. It asked all members to be optimistic towards the new changes “as change and transformation is inevitable for a progressive society.”
The party further congratulated Ato Yepthomi and Ringo Odyuo for having been elevated to the posts of Vice Chairman of NECC and Vice-President of National Youth Wing respectively.
