(Photo courtesy: NPSC Facebook page) Chizokho Vero Kohima | November 9 Altogether, 12, 865 candidates will vie for 62 posts in the preliminary examination for NCS, NPS, NSS & Allied Services being conducted by the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) across 24 exam centres in Nagaland on November 10. Informing this to The Morung Express, NPSC chairman TS Angami said that each exam centre is being supervised by NPSC members for smooth conduct of the exam. The 62 posts include: Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC):15, Employment Officer-1, Assistant Public Relation Officer (APRO)-1, Excise Inspector-4, Secretariat Assistant - 40, and Information Assistant- 1. NPSC chairman said that the duration of the exam will be three hours, starting from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The exam will be held simultaneously in 24 centres across the state with 12 in Kohima, Dimapur-8, Mokokchung-2 and one each at Mon and Tuensang. It may mention here that at the end of 2016, a total of 70,422 educated unemployed youth were registered in the Live Register of the Department of Labour & Employment, Nagaland.
