Dimapur, January 25 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed grief over the demise of Hoshito Aye, Tatar of NSCN (IM) on January 25 due to illness. He was from Ghonivi village under Union Territory (UT) and joined the Naga national service on March 30, 2003, the MIP stated in a press note.
The note stated that Aye served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise. The void created by his death is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For his selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and he shall be remembered for all time to come.
It conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the soul to rest in eternal peace.
As a mark of respect to the departed soul, all the offices under the NSCN (IM) remained closed from the morning till 12.00 noon and the Naga national flag was flown half mast today, it added.
